Up to a $2,000 Sign on Bonus
shift 4 PM – 12 PM + alternating weekends
Types of clients: Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) works with clients in active crisis who have outreached 988 and are in need of in-person assessment and support. We work with clients in the communities of all ages in the BJC Behavioral Health catchment area of (Ironton County, Washington County and St. Francois County)
Will use a company vehicle ( not your own car)
Team dynamic: This team is made up of mental health professionals – some masters level, some bachelor level, and some Peer Support Specialists. It is a 24/7/365 program
Touchdown location – BJC Commons - but your work with clients will take place anywhere in the community. You will go to where the individual-in-crisis is (home, park, store, bus station, street intersection, etc.)
Ideal Skill Set: Experience with clients in crisis preferred, ability to manage stress, comfort with change, solutions-oriented and focused on client strengths/resources, willing/able to participate in a collaborative environment between staff and leaders
Team members are considered as “primary members” of a MCR team when they are sent into the community. This means they take point on assessments while out on a dispatch, documentation of said assessments, and making clinical decisions.

François, Iron and Washington counties. As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system.
