The Assistant Director for Education Abroad (EA) is an integral member of the Office of International Programs (IP) and the EA team who facilitates education opportunities for WSU students at home and abroad. The Assistant Director of Education Abroad performs essential functions, which may include but are not limited to:
Developing, maintaining, and improving the daily advising operations of EA at WSU to increase participation of students across the WSU system within each college and campus.
Coordinating the development of faculty-led programs with WSU faculty, colleges, departments, and external vendors including maintaining policies and procedures.
Advising students on EA opportunities within their academic requirements.
Collaborating with WSU Advising community to increase opportunities available for students to study abroad within their academic plan.
Assisting with the management and support for Terra Dotta.
Supervising paid student staff and overseeing the student volunteer program.
Serve as support for Risk Management & Crisis Situations.
This is a full-time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
$4,102.52 - $4,641.66 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 , the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
