Amazon Manufacturing Services is an internal Amazon service specializing in the production of high-quality components through additive manufacturing (3D printing), CNC machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, and assembly. We serve design engineers, product developers, operations engineers, and retail product concept testing teams across Amazon.
About the Role
AMS seeks an Assembly Manager to lead our assembly and sub-assembly operations within our world-class manufacturing facility. You will own day-to-day execution on the assembly floor, supervise a team of assembly operators and sub-assembly technicians, and ensure builds go out complete, correct, and on time. Assembly is the last step before the customer sees the product, so this role owns the final quality gate for machined, fabricated, and 3D printed components as they come together into finished assemblies.
