. Our Petersburg campus has two buildings: one for assisted living and one for memory care.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee resident care and support the team across both buildings. We are looking for a nurse who can guide staff, maintain strong clinical practices, and build trusting relationships with residents and families.
Responsibilities:: Lead, train, coach, and support CNAs, medication aides, caregivers, and other direct care staff.
Conduct resident assessments and oversee service plans, care plans, and clinical documentation.
Oversee medication management, eMAR documentation, physician orders, and pharmacy coordination.
Monitor changes in residents’ conditions and ensure timely follow-up and family communication.
Coordinate care with physicians, hospitals, hospice, home health, rehabilitation providers, and pharmacies.
Assist with hiring, scheduling, and performance management of the resident care team.
Support incident reviews, fall management, quality assurance, survey readiness, and state inspections.
Maintain compliance with Virginia assisted living regulations, infection control standards, HIPAA, and company policies.
Participate in the required on-call rotation and respond to clinical concerns as needed.
Qualifications:: Current Virginia LPN or RN license required.
Nursing leadership, supervisory, charge nurse, or senior-level nursing experience strongly preferred.
Experience in assisted living, memory care, senior living, long-term care, or skilled nursing strongly preferred.
Knowledge of resident assessments, care planning, medication management, eMAR/EHR systems, and clinical documentation.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a willingness to provide hands-on support.
