The Department of Art & Design at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Art in Sculpture starting Fall 2027. We seek a motivated, collaborative artist-educator with expertise in three-dimensional art who is passionate about teaching within a student-centered university environment. Candidates should demonstrate an active studio practice, a strong exhibition record, college-level teaching experience, and a commitment to fostering a supportive academic community.

Required Qualifications
Master of Fine Arts degree with demonstrated expertise in Sculpture/3D art.
Evidence of active professional artistic practice and exhibition record.
Teaching experience at the college or university level.
Ability to teach 3D Foundations and advanced undergraduate and graduate Sculpture courses.
Knowledge of current safety and health standards in sculpture studios.
Experience working collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff in a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to effectively serve and promote a varied student population.
