Staff Accountant (Hybrid) at National Church Residences | LAYIQ

Assist with completion of Preliminary financials.
Complete final financials
Assist with completion of Audited Financial Statements for assigned properties
Complete and distribute ABC reports to appropriate HUD office by deadline
Calculate PILOT tax amounts
Create and maintain thorough documentation for all major processes and procedures
Generate Print and distribute all financial statements and GL posting reports
Maintain Fixed Asset Database
Reconcile reserve Accounts
Reviews source data information to produce accurate journal entries. • • Enters journal entries into the computer with a timely and accurate manner.
Reviews the financial statements for accuracy
Completes bank reconciliations.
Updates the audit schedules monthly.
Reports on the training of those providing source documentation monthly.
Reports the deficiencies in internal control monthly.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Education: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: None required, one year of accounting experience preferred.
Skills: Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand and make oneself understood in English.
Must have ability to comprehend complex concepts.
Must have the ability to work well with others in a collaborative, team environment.
Licensure: None required.
