responsible for providing psychosocial oncology services to patients of both the Dillon and Edwards campuses.
Shaw at Home Program
: acts as an active member of the palliative care team by providing psychosocial oncology services and interventions to support patients across the continuum of care.
acts as an active member of the Spirit of Survival team through program development and participation to enhance survivors’ quality of life and to reduce risk of recurrence.
This is a clinical social work position whereby the psychosocial oncology counselor/social worker allocates 100% of FTE time to clinical functions and direct patient care within the Shaw at Home program as well as the Shaw Cancer Center as an organization.
This position is Full Time working 40 hrs/week, Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.
Two years of previous experience in psychosocial oncology required
Required: State of Colorado Licensed Social Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or State of Colorado Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Oncology Social Worker (OSW-C) preferred
Required: Master’s degree in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council of Social Work Education or Master’s degree in Counseling from an institution accredited by CACREP.
