Job Description :
Support new product development including design, analysis and testing of electrical and electronic components, products or systems for residential, commercial or industrial applications. Understand product requirements, define system architecture, and develop functional specifications for analog front-end, digital control, power supplies and communications modules.
Responsible for schematic design, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout, electronic component selection, prototype builds, hardware debug, hardware verification/validation and release to manufacturing. Support reliability testing and qualification efforts, including accelerated life tests (ALT) and emissions evaluations, to ensure compliance with utility and industrial standards. Create and maintain documentation including design artifacts, assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and test plans along with their results.
