AV Technician
Full Time | $25 - $30 per hour, depending on experience

Position Summary
The AV Technician is responsible for executing permanent AV installations on time, on spec, and to the standard SCS clients expect.
Install, terminate, test, and commission commercial audiovisual systems, including displays, projectors, projection screens, speakers, microphones, DSPs, cameras, control systems, LED video walls, digital signage, and conferencing platforms.
Read and interpret construction drawings, AV schematics, signal flow diagrams, and scope documentation to ensure installations are completed accurately and efficiently.
Pull, route, label, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling, including category cable, fiber optic, speaker wire, and coaxial cabling.
Rack, stack, and dress AV equipment racks following industry best practices and SCS quality standards.
Configure and troubleshoot AV hardware, software, and network-connected devices.
Perform system testing, quality control checks, and commissioning activities to verify functionality and ensure a seamless end-user experience.
Collaborate with Lead Technicians, Project Managers, and client stakeholders to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet scope requirements.
Identify installation challenges and proactively communicate solutions before they impact project timelines.
