Issue Management Engineer at ALTEN Technology USA | LAYIQ

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical
, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in automotive engineering, quality, or validation environments.
Demonstrated experience with issue tracking systems and related tools.
Knowledge of automotive development and testing processes, including HIL, validation, and launch readiness.
Familiarity with field performance metrics (IOP, IQS, QFS, warranty analysis).
Knowledge of quality tools (APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA).
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to influence across teams.
Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
Lessons learned documentation with cross-functional team.
Preferrable to have experience in the Client Engineering Releasing Process.
Key Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Process-oriented with attention to detail and documentation.
Ability to manage multiple issues and drive them to closure under tight timelines.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and coordinating across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
High ownership, teamwork and accountability.
APQP/PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA experience.
Lessons learned documentation experience.
Experience with automotive electrical and electronic systems.
Value to the Organization: Acts as a safeguard for quality and performance by ensuring no critical issue is overlooked.
Reduces risk to program launches and in-field reliability.
Drives systemic improvements and cross-functional accountability.
Enables data-driven decision-making through structured issue tracking and reporting.
