We’re seeking a skilled GSOC Team Lead to support our Client’s GSOC program as it moves from a business unite focused function, to an enterprise wide support function.
This role will serve as the day-to-day leader of the GSOC, providing operational oversight and strategic direction for a team of embedded operators. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior security leadership, driving program maturity, developing operational processes, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring the GSOC can effectively support stakeholders across the broader organization.
Partner with senior stakeholders to support the transformation of the GSOC into an enterprise-wide security function.
Develop roadmaps and recommendations to enhance GSOC capabilities and maturity.
Lead the day-to-day operation of the GSOC and provide oversight of all security operations personnel.
Act as the primary liaison between the client and GSOC staff, ensuring alignment with strategic security objectives.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, technology utilization, and service delivery.
Establish and maintain operational metrics, reporting mechanisms, and quality assurance processes.
Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance oversight for embedded GSOC personnel.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ensure operators adhere to established SOPs, escalation protocols, and service standards.
Ensure timely response to security incidents impacting personnel, facilities, operations, executives, and business continuity.
Coordinate emergency communications, crisis management support, and stakeholder notifications.
Lead after-action reviews and identify opportunities for operational improvements following significant incidents.
Develop, review, and maintain GSOC policies, procedures, playbooks, and escalation frameworks.
Implement quality assurance measures to maintain consistency across shifts and personnel.
Design and manage training programs to ensure operator readiness and operational excellence.
Support exercises, drills, and crisis response simulations.
The base salary range for this position is $135000-145000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
