Advanced Practitioner - Families First Team

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Advanced Practitioner for its client's Families First Team at Trafford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Children's Social Worker to work within Trafford's Child in Need Service, supporting children and families through assessment, planning, and intervention. The service operates on a locality basis and is focused on delivering high-quality assessments, strengthening family support networks, and achieving positive outcomes for children.

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will hold a varied caseload and play a key role in supporting the development of colleagues through coaching, supervision, and practice leadership.

What will your responsibilities be?

Undertake Child and Family Assessments.

Complete Section 47 enquiries and safeguarding investigations.

Manage a caseload of children supported through Child in Need plans.

Build strong relationships with children, families, and partner agencies.

Support the safe step-down of plans where appropriate.

Provide coaching, supervision, and support to social workers and students.

Promote high-quality practice and contribute to service development.

Qualifications & Experience:

• To be successful in this role you must have, Qualified Social Worker
• Social Work England Registration
• Significant post-qualified experience within Children's Services
• Experience of Child in Need, Assessment, and Safeguarding work
• Ability to support and develop less experienced practitioners
• Strong assessment, planning, and relationship-building skills
