Applying a comprehensive understanding for the theories and methods of a life science discipline, perform work directly involved in research projects, interpreting results and participation in experimental design.
The Bollyky Lab at Stanford University, Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 1 (LSRP1) to perform lab functions and activities involved in defined research projects and assist in conducting a portion of the research project(s). The LSRP1 is involved in assisting the execution of a Principal Investigator's research activities and attaining the goals of the PI's sponsored research projects.
While our Division of Infectious Diseases encompasses all aspects of infectious diseases and geographic medicine, including COVID research and clinical care, clinical microbiology, hospital epidemiology, AIDS, international health, mechanisms of pathogenesis, the role of microbes in chronic & unexplained disease, human microbial ecology, parasitology, microbial & viral genomics, and tropical medicine, the Bollyky Lab specifically studies the immunology of infectious diseases with an emphasis on skin and lung infections.
