As a Sheet Metal Welder, you will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling sheet metal products (16 & 18ga stainless steel, galvanized, and Galvinized) and using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. The role involves interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting metal, and ensuring high-quality standards and safety protocols are followed.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Welding & Fabrication: Use welding equipment to join, cut, or shape sheet metal components, ensuring structural integrity and quality.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the correct welding techniques and materials needed.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet the required standards, specifications, and tolerances.
- Metal Preparation: Cut, trim, and prepare metal sheets or components before welding, ensuring proper fit-up for assembly.
