ON.energy is setting the standard for large load interconnection. ON’s patented AI UPS™ is a medium-voltage UPS that serves as a firewall, protecting the data center from the grid, and the grid from the data center. With multiple gigawatts currently under construction, we are enabling grid-safe data centers.
- Travel Requirement: >80% site based
- Position Type: Full-Time, hourly with OT and per diem
- Location: Field-Based in United States (current site in Amarillo, TX)
Overview
The Site Readiness Technician I is an entry-level field role supporting receiving inspection and mechanical completion verification on ON.energy’s mission-critical, medium-voltage double-conversion UPS systems, utility-scale battery energy storage equipment including batteries, transformers, power conversion systems (PCS), and controls deployed at hyperscale data center and grid-tie sites.
Working under the direction of senior technicians and the Site Readiness Manager, the Technician I performs basic receiving and installation checks, supports inspection documentation, and learns the fundamentals of safe, high-quality BESS field inspection.
