The Ammonia Technician II reports directly to the Ammonia Supervisor and is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the ammonia system and ensuring the plant refrigeration has all needed preventive maintenance performed in a timely manner. Will be working on all refrigeration equipment including screw compressors, condensers, pumps, valves, penthouses, RMAU’s and any component that is involved in keeping our product properly refrigerated.
Additionally, this position requires basic knowledge on PHA/PSM and may have the opportunity to make program suggestions to their immediate supervisor to ensure compliance with all regulating authorities.
General Responsibilities
Preventative maintenance on all components of the ammonia system.
Document and maintain all work performed and parts used in our Meat Maintenance Work Order System including PM’s, corrective work and system checks.
