Role summary:
The Manager, Strategic Account Management leads the development and execution of account strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. About the team:
The Local Marketplace (LMP) team drives Walmart Marketplace’s local commerce by integrating leading brick-and-mortar retailers onto Walmart.com. Focused on enabling customers to access local store inventory through same-day pickup and delivery, LMP expands assortment and convenience while creating new growth channels for strategic retailers. The team collaborates cross-functionally to connect Marketplace demand with physical store networks, leveraging strong stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and project management skills.
Together, they enhance Walmart.com’s position as a premier destination for local commerce, delivering value through innovative solutions and effective relationship management.
What you'll do:
Lead and coordinate seller account management activities, ensuring alignment with the seller and company objectives.
Analyze business metrics and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support strategic plans and business initiatives.
Oversee compliance with company policies and ethical standards in all account management processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and drive business results.
Manage negotiation processes to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes while adhering to company guidelines.
What you'll bring:
Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management to support seller initiatives.
Knowledge of e-commerce management and product assortment to align with customer and business needs.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills to present complex information clearly and influence different audiences.
Strong proficiency in data modeling and interpreting business metrics to inform decision-making and drive results.
