Employer job description
From SpaceX's posting. “We” and “our” refer to the employer.
SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
IT WIRELESS NETWORK ENGINEER
SpaceX is looking for an experienced wireless network engineer with a background in designing, deploying, and managing wireless networks in an enterprise environment. This employee will be a member of the IT Networking team, which is responsible for managing SpaceX wireless networks. This network supports the design, manufacturing, and launching of rockets, spacecraft, satellites, and human spaceflight.
This position will be focused on designing, building, and troubleshooting wireless networks at Starbase, including coverage for campus and live data center build environments, with occasional travel to other sites. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator, able to document work, excel at multi-tasking, and enjoy a fast-paced high-tech environment.
