LAYIQ - RN Emergency Center PRN at Corewell Health

· Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required
· Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than one (1) year experience
· Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination
· MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
· Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire/transfer from one of the following organizations - American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke.
· ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer. TNCC within 1 year of hire/transfer. ENPC within 15 months of hire/transfer
· Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years
External candidates are required to have a minimum of 2 years of related acute care experience. External candidates must successfully complete a competency assessment provided by nursing education required.
Internal candidates with less than 2 years of clinical experience must be approved by their current Nurse Manager and the site CNO. These candidates are to remain a unit-based PRN (casual) employee until they reach 2 years of nursing experience.
