A Printpack QA Technician I ensures that Printpack’s products are produced in specification and meet customer requirements. They conduct various tests and inspections on raw materials, finished products, and in process materials. QA Technician I must use physical and analytical laboratory equipment, techniques and production floor gauges to measure and analyze product characteristics.
They also maintain detailed records of quality control activities and communicate findings to other team members, to other departments/functions, and to plant leadership.
The QA Technician I role is an entry level position within the Quality department at the Newport News location and is designed for internal candidates seeking transition from other Printpack departments as well as external candidates possessing prior quality control experience. The job will include training, and the associate will be supervised.
