We are looking for a creative, organized, and driven journalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about producing compelling local news. This is more than just a job. It is an exciting career opportunity with Nexstar Media Group , where you will play a key role in shaping daily newscasts and informing the communities we serve.
As a News Producer , you will produce daily newscasts by selecting and organizing stories, determining the order in which they are presented, writing teases and other compelling content, timing news programs, editing video, and posting content to the station website. The ideal candidate will have strong news judgment, excellent writing skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and a commitment to producing accurate and engaging broadcasts.
