The John Martinson Honors Program is comprised of approximately 3,000 academically gifted students. The Assistant Director of Honors Community Development is responsible for directing, implementing, and assessing the Honors Living-Learning Community initiatives and overseeing student-driven co-curricular programming.
The Assistant Director plays an integral role in the John Martinson Honors Program and supports initiatives such as Orientation, Welcome Week activities, graduation recognition programming, and other initiatives as needed. The Assistant Director also provides developmental advising to Honors students on issues such as Honors course selection, academic support, and co-curricular opportunities. There are some weekend and evening hours required in this position to support programming.
