LAYIQ - Veterinary Technician Supervisor at Western Veterinary Partners, LLC

Full-time Benefits Package*:

Bonus package: $2000 based on active, good-standing veterinary technician credentials in the state of Delaware

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

3+ years of veterinary technician experience
Strong clinical foundation across both outpatient and urgent/emergency procedures
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and assistants
Clear, professional communication with team members, doctors, and clients — including in high-stress and emotionally sensitive situations
Calm, efficient, and organized during medical emergencies
Strong work ethic, adaptability, and the ability to find some humor in the chaos while staying compassionate and grounded
Scheduling, workflow coordination, and team communication
Mentorship and on-the-job training of support staff
Effective teamwork and professional communication at all levels
Proficiency in the following clinical skills is also required: Patient triage and assessment
Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
Medication administration and accurate drug calculations
Radiology positioning and safety protocols
