Description
Apple’s Global Trade Compliance team is looking for a highly motivated Trade Compliance Analyst to actively support Apple’s Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and vendor management programs. Your integrity, high degree of ownership, can-do thinking, focused partnership, and dedication to excellence will bring value to our team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of FTZ estimates admissions and weekly customs entries.
- Manage and monitor external partners including weekly meetings, compliance requests, shipment validations etc.
- Monitor, measure and develop reports with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs.).
- Evaluate new government requirements and partner with regional teams to ensure import compliance.
- Ensure legal regulatory compliance with all aspects of FTZ operations.
- Manage system related issues and root cause analysis.
- Lead classification specific projects as assigned.
- Manage and present metrics to management team.
- Conduct desk verifications and on-site audits with external partners.
- Create and maintain process and procedures.
- Craft effective and clear communication with stakeholders (emails, Presentations, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in import customs compliance roles at a professional services or Fortune 500 company.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical work experience.
