Nurse Manager - Endoscopy
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is a leading institution dedicated to cancer care, research, education, and prevention. The Endoscopy department provides specialized diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures in a highly collaborative procedural environment focused on clinical excellence, patient safety, innovation, and exceptional patient outcomes.
The Nurse Manager plays a critical leadership role in supporting operational excellence, workforce development, quality outcomes, and evidence-based patient care.
The Nurse Manager partners with operational and clinical leadership to advance strategic goals, optimize staffing and resource utilization, foster professional nursing practice, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Nurse Manager serves as a mentor, coach, and advocate for nursing staff while supporting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and patient-centered care. The Nurse Manager contributes directly to the mission of UT MD Anderson by promoting safe, high-quality care and operational effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN), a minimum of five years of experience as a Nurse Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager in a Procedural/Perioperative setting, and a Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse (CGRN) certification. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, leadership, relationship-building, coaching, mentoring, and people management skills within a high-volume procedural environment.
