The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is dedicated to eliminating cancer through outstanding patient care, research, prevention, and education. The Clinical Nuclear Medicine Department supports patients through advanced imaging services that contribute to accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing care.
The Radiologic Technologist (Bone Mineral Density in the Clinical Nuclear Medicine Department) provides technical and specialized radiologic and fluoroscopic services while supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. The Radiologic Technologist (Bone Mineral Density in the Clinical Nuclear Medicine Department) performs imaging procedures, maintains compliance with safety standards, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
The Radiologic Technologist (Bone Mineral Density in the Clinical Nuclear Medicine Department) also contributes to operational excellence through technical expertise, patient advocacy, and continuous process improvement.
An ideal candidate will demonstrate strong patient care skills, technical imaging proficiency, effective communication, critical thinking, knowledge of radiation safety principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Candidates should also be committed to maintaining required licensure, certifications, continuing education, and high standards of patient care and operational excellence.
Must have Bone Mineral Density (DEXA) experienced - required

Shift / Hours
: Monday - Friday / 6am - 5pm (8 hour varying shifts)
This position may be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code and therefore may require routine reviews and screening. The ability to satisfy and maintain all requirements necessary to ensure the continued security and integrity of such infrastructure is a condition of hire and continued employment.
