Wells Fargo is seeking a Compensation Consultant to join the Compensation team within Total Rewards supporting the Chief Operating Office (COO). This role supports compensation decision-making through data analysis, reporting, workforce insights, and compensation planning activities. The individual in this role will partner closely with Compensation, Human Resources, Finance, and business leaders to provide analytical support, reporting, and recommendations that help drive compensation strategies and business outcomes.
Develop, maintain, and analyze compensation reports, dashboards, metrics, and workforce insights to support compensation programs and business initiatives.
Perform compensation and workforce data analysis, including market comparisons, compensation modeling, job leveling support, and ad hoc research.
Leverage tools such as Workday, Power BI, Excel, and other reporting platforms to deliver meaningful and actionable insights.
Prepare executive-ready reports, presentations, and materials used for compensation reviews, calibration discussions, leadership meetings, and decision-making processes.
Support year-end compensation planning activities, including reporting, data validation, calibration preparation, and identification of data anomalies or trends requiring further review.
Partner with Compensation Consultants, Human Resources, Finance, and business stakeholders to respond to compensation-related inquiries and deliver analytical support.
Assist with offer evaluations and job leveling reviews to help ensure alignment with compensation guidelines and practices.
Manage and execute small- to medium-sized compensation projects, coordinating stakeholder feedback, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely delivery of project objectives.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and data quality to enhance compensation decision-making.
2+ years of Compensation or Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Experience analyzing and interpreting compensation, workforce, or HR-related data.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within large data sets.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large datasets, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting tools.
Experience preparing executive-ready reports, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Compensation, Human Resources, Finance, and business stakeholders.
Knowledge of compensation programs, pay practices, market pricing, compensation planning, and compensation governance principles.
Experience supporting year-end compensation processes, calibration activities, workforce planning, or other Human Resources programs.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Familiarity with Workday, Power BI, reporting tools, and the financial services industry.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$68,000.00 - $114,000.00
