Facility: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital providing specialized care for patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or other disabling conditions.

• Job Type: Per Diem (PRN)

• Shift: Nights (7:00pm to 7:30am)
• Duration: 12 hours
• Experience: 1 year of consecutive acute care experience in last 5 years
• License: Active Louisiana RN License or compact
• Certifications: BLS

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Assess patient conditions and monitor for changes.

Administer medications and treatments as ordered.

Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.

Educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, and ongoing care.

Document patient care accurately and maintain required records.

Requirements

• Must have 1+ year of acute care or rehabilitation hospital experience within the last 5 years.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
• Active and unencumbered Louisiana RN or Compact License
• Active BLS Certification
• Negative TB within last 12 months
• Hep B Series or Titer
