Saab, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager, Supply Chain Materials to lead Materials Operations, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering across the organization.
The primary responsibility of this role is to establish, implement, and sustain a single enterprise-wide operating model for Materials and Packaging Engineering across Syracuse, NY; Grayling, MI; West Lafayette, IN; Orlando, FL; Cranston, RI; Bristol, RI; CROW sites; external and satellite warehouses; and future Saab, Inc. locations.
This is a senior-level leadership position responsible for building and standardizing the organization around People, Process, and Technology. The successful candidate must be comfortable moving between strategy and execution, leading across multiple sites and functions, and capable of assuming broader Director-level responsibilities as the organization grows.
Compensation Range: $132,000 - $171,600
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated leadership experience in a complex manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated environment.
Experience leading multi-site operations or enterprise-level initiatives and standardizing processes across multiple locations or business units.
Strong Materials Management, Warehousing, and inventory control experience with working knowledge of domestic and international logistics.
Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation, continuous improvement, and team development.
Strong analytical, ERP/data, and performance management capabilities.
Ability to travel approximately 20% annually to Saab, Inc. locations across the United States.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
