Business Development Representative - Technical Sales

***Position is remote - however, applicants must reside within the Madison area****

EquipNet helps the largest manufacturers in the world to buy, sell, and manage their surplus capital equipment.

The Business Development Rep- Technical Sales will work as part of a team, engaged in helping companies buy and sell pre-owned laboratory and life sciences equipment.

We are seeking a results-driven business development professional with a strong “hunter” mindset and proven capital equipment sales experience within the Biotech and Life Sciences industry. This individual will thrive in outbound prospecting, building relationships by phone, and converting company-generated leads into qualified opportunities and closed revenue.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
• Engage in warm calling to establish relationships with prospective clients.
• Utilize CRM for tracking sales activities, managing customer interactions, and reporting on performance metrics.
