The (USA) Staff, Software Engineer plays a critical role in delivering scalable platform capabilities and driving the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. What you'll do:
Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap priorities.
Drive full software development lifecycle activities such as coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems.
Lead system design reviews to validate quality and alignment with architectural standards.
Build AI-driven applications integrating ML components and automation features.
Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and track success metrics.
Continuously improve processes, tools, and products through innovation and feedback integration.
What you'll bring:
Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
Strong experience in software design patterns, API design, and software prototyping to deliver maintainable and modular solutions.
Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, or C++.
Demonstrated ability to lead full software development lifecycle activities, including CI/CD deployment, observability, and maintenance.
Skilled in DevOps engineering practices to enhance platform capabilities and developer productivity.
Experience applying data-driven decision making to optimize engineering processes and outcomes.
Ability to conduct thorough design reviews and remedial actions to uphold engineering excellence.
