LAYIQ - Director, Technical Accounting at ServiceNow

To be successful in this role you have: Total experience of minimum 12 years with a minimum of 5 years of Big Four public accounting experience
BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting and active CPA license is required
Sr. Manager role in a Big Four public accounting firm and/or Director, Technical Accounting at a public company
Positive, service-oriented attitude, highly motivated to learn and to make an impact within the organization
Experience leading a team and being a mentor to high-performing individuals
Strong technical accounting background with a knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting standards, and SOX 404, as well as experience with technical research
Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
Relationship builder across all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Corporate Development) on technical accounting positions without direct authority
Strong organizational skills to manage numerous workstreams at once and complete work timely
Self-starter and a great team member
Proactive approach to identifying root causes and implementing durable solutions, including escalation when appropriate
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a dynamic environment
Meticulous and superior attention to detail
Strong Excel knowledge
Familiarity with emerging AI tools for accounting automation is valued
Experience with SAP or other large ERP systems is a plus
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $184,100 - $287,650
, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
