Working alongside experienced nurses, preceptors, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members, you'll build the confidence and clinical expertise needed to thrive as a professional registered nurse. Position Summary The Nurse Resident provides direct patient care in an acute care hospital environment while participating in Orlando Health's Nurse Residency Program. This position is designed for newly licensed registered nurses and nurses with less than one year of professional RN experience.
Under the guidance of experienced nurses, clinical leaders, and preceptors, Nurse Residents develop critical thinking skills, strengthen clinical competencies, and provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based patient care to diverse patient populations. Licensure & Certification - Current Florida Registered Nurse license or valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate RN license. - Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
- Additional certifications including ACLS, PALS, NRP, or TNCC may be required based on department assignment. Experience - Newly licensed Registered Nurse or less than one year of professional RN experience. - Clinical rotations in an acute care setting preferred.
