We are looking for an experienced BIM Modeler / Electrical Detailer to support commercial electrical construction projects through 3D modeling, detailing, coordination, and field installation planning.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing electrical models for commercial construction and is highly proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. This position will bridge the gap between design and field execution, working with project management, estimating, engineering, BIM/VDC, and field teams to create accurate models and installation-ready drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for commercial electrical projects.
- Model conduit, cable tray, electrical equipment, supports, sleeves, and related systems.
- Produce shop drawings, coordination drawings, installation layouts, and prefabrication packages.
- Perform clash detection and coordinate electrical systems with structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and architectural trades.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents for design conflicts and constructability concerns.
