Job Description
The Chassis Diagnostics Calibration team is seeking a Diagnostics Technical Specialist to support the development, integration, calibration, and validation of vehicle chassis control systems. This role will apply hands-on diagnostic expertise, vehicle testing experience, and data-driven problem solving to identify issues, improve system performance, and deliver robust customer-ready features.
The successful candidate will work closely with controls engineers, software developers, calibration engineers, test engineers, and vehicle integration teams. The role requires a strong combination of technical depth, practical vehicle knowledge, disciplined troubleshooting, and the ability to communicate findings clearly across engineering and program teams.
Five or more years of experience in automotive diagnostics, chassis controls, vehicle integration, calibration, validation, or a related engineering discipline.
Proficiency with tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer, INCA, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, Vehicle Spy, ETAS, dSPACE, Vector, or comparable diagnostic and data-analysis platforms.
Experience analyzing time-series data, bus traces, test logs, calibration data, and vehicle performance measurements.
Experience with embedded software development, software release processes, requirements traceability, defect tracking, and configuration management.
Knowledge of functional safety, cybersecurity, AUTOSAR, vehicle networks, and applicable automotive development processes.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical investigations, mentor less-experienced team members.
Success in this role
Success will be demonstrated by the ability to quickly isolate difficult chassis controls issues, provide actionable technical evidence, improve diagnostic and test efficiency with standard work processes, and help the team deliver reliable vehicle behavior across development and validation programs.
Work environment
This is a hands-on role supporting chassis controls work across engineering, vehicle integration, laboratory, and proving-ground environments. The position may require work around test vehicles and equipment, occasional travel, and flexible hours during vehicle testing and program milestones.
