The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will serve as the technical lead for one of our manufacturing lines, driving continuous improvement, new product integration, and the ongoing advancement of manufacturing processes and technology. This role will provide leadership and mentorship to site Manufacturing Engineers while partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, and other cross functional teams to support day to day production needs and future product launches.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will also lead efforts to advance the line through new technologies, automation, smart tools, AMRs, and manufacturing system integration.
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for completion of a project or parts of multiple projects of complexity on time and utilize lean/six sigma principles and methodologies in making process improvements.
Performs complex engineering calculations, investigations, and prepares delivery of plans, designs, computation methods and/or reporting.
Manage the development of timely and accurate N/C programs to aid in efficiency in production.
Determine appropriate assembly fixturing that are complex in nature.
Review and select required special tooling and equipment.
Determine and improve processes to meet production levels.
Collaborate with Production team and Operations/Engineering teams.
Develop and support recommendations for new equipment and tooling.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to others within the Engineering organization.
