LAYIQ - Events Coordinator at Northeastern University

· Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. The successful candidate must be able to independently create and manage complex spreadsheets, track event budgets and expenses, maintain registration and attendance data, develop production schedules, and generate reports using formulas, filters, and pivot tables.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
· Experience with event management software and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, including Cvent, Salesforce, or comparable systems, is preferred. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize new technology platforms is highly desirable.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach.
· Experience coordinating events, conferences, hospitality programs, or related activities preferred.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during event setup and execution.
· Availability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed to support event operations.
· Other duties as assigned.
