LAYIQ - Payroll Specialist at Cesna Recruitment

Essential Functions: Regular and reliable attendance.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
Ability to review payroll data accurately and identify discrepancies.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, Human Resources, Finance, and external agencies.
Ability to interpret and apply payroll policies and procedures.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting strict payroll deadlines.
Ability to perform detailed analytical work with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to operate payroll, HRIS, and Microsoft Office software systems.
Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
Education, Training, and Skills Required: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of payroll processing experience required.
Experience processing multi-department or manufacturing payroll preferred.
Working knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, tax withholding requirements, and payroll administration practices.
Experience with Paycom payroll and timekeeping systems preferred.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
