This is more than a recruiting leadership position. It's an opportunity to influence workforce strategy, shape hiring outcomes, and partner directly with senior business leaders to build high-performing Claims organizations. You'll lead a team of recruiters supporting high-volume and specialized hiring needs while driving innovative talent acquisition strategies that ensure USAA remains competitive in today's evolving talent market.

We offer a flexible work environment that requires team members to be in the office four days per week . This position is based in San Antonio, TX , and relocation assistance is not available.
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
6 years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field, including full-cycle recruiting experience and involvement in hiring strategy, recruiting operations, or process improvement efforts.
2 years of experience leading others either formally in a managerial role, or informally as a project or team lead.
Proven ability to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies, processes, or initiatives in partnership with business leaders to meet hiring needs.
Strong understanding of talent market trends, recruiting standard processes, and employment laws and regulations.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and partners.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting technologies.
Lead and develop a team of recruiters supporting high-volume, class-based hiring across Auto Injury and Property Claims organizations, ensuring alignment with business hiring goals and workforce demands.
Drive the execution of recruiting strategies for experienced Claims professionals, with a focus on sourcing and attracting specialized talent in highly competitive markets.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and enhance the candidate and hiring manager experience.
Compensation Range: $103,450 - $197,730

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
