Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled

Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one clinical care for a pediatric patient in a home setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pediatric seizure management.

Clinical Requirements & Responsibilities

Seizure Management:

Monitoring and intervention for epilepsy; proven pediatric seizure experience is required.

G-Tube Care:

Administration of scheduled feedings and medications via Gastrostomy tube.

Ostomy Care:

Routine management and maintenance of an ostomy bag.

Assessment:

Continuous monitoring of respiratory and neurological status

🕒 Shift Times

7:00 PM to 11:00 PM - Monday
7:00 AM to 7:00 PM- Wednesday
7:00 PM to 11:00 PM- Wednesday & Sunday
3:00 PM to 7:00 PM- Thursday

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care)
Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs
Assist with daily living activities (ADLs)
Communicate with families and care teams
Maintain safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
Schedule & Pay
Full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts available
Day, night, and weekend shifts
Weekly pay + optional daily pay

Qualifications

Active
RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
Home care or private duty experience preferred (not required)
