The mission of our schools is to educate responsible citizen scholars for success in a college of their choice and a life of active citizenship. Core to achieving this mission is the aspect of parent choice. Our Canvasser executes the student recruitment tactics and community outreach work needed to fill seats for the twelve schools in the Democracy Prep Public Schools in New York City.
With a strong understanding of the communities where Democracy Prep operates, the Canvasser implements efforts to find families to inquire about and in most cases apply to our schools.

Enthusiastic Team Player: You have an unwavering commitment to the Democracy Prep mission of college success and authentic civic engagement for our scholars.
Experienced Organizer: Experience in community organizing, marketing, and charter school student recruiting is preferred.
