The Tax Manager at Galway Holdings LP is responsible for managing and executing key tax compliance, reporting, tax accounting, planning, and advisory activities across multiple tax types and jurisdictions. Reporting to the Head of Tax, this role serves as a critical reviewer and strategic partner, ensuring the quality, completeness, and accuracy of work prepared by external service providers.
This is a highly hands-on role requiring a professional who can balance execution with strategic review. The Tax Manager will serve as an in-house tax advisor to Accounting, Finance, Legal, Treasury, HR, and business stakeholders, providing guidance on the tax implications of transactions, operational initiatives, and business decisions.
The role is also responsible for managing non-income tax matters, supporting tax audits and examinations, maintaining tax procedures and controls, and identifying opportunities to improve tax processes and governance.
Hybrid work arrangement requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week in the office in Summit, NJ.
Compensation
The national average salary for this role is $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
