Specific Role:
The Material Handler – Weld Kit to Weld is an important role in EMIT’s manufacturing facility. This role involves moving kitted weld materials from the kitting area to the weld line to support weld operations in an organized manner and with urgency, both inside and outside the building. Execute the daily scheduled production expectations for your specific role.
Key Accountabilities:
Material Staging
Stage kitted weld materials as directed in designated weld staging areas.
Follow daily schedules and respond quickly to priority changes.
Verify all staged materials are correctly identified, organized, and accessible.
Execute all material moves through scan-based system transactions — never relocate material without scanning.
Scan all items into their designated weld staging locations.
Finished Product Transfer
Transfer kitted weld materials from the kitting area to the weld line and to the next scheduled production activity without delay.
