This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how paid LAYIQ subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work.

1. Paid plans

LAYIQ offers Base and Pro monthly subscriptions. Base is $9.99 per month and Pro is $29.99 per month, in each case plus applicable taxes. There is no public Free or Premium plan, and LAYIQ does not offer an annual plan at launch.

A new Base subscriber may receive one 30-day card-backed trial after providing a payment method and accepting the applicable purchase terms. LAYIQ determines trial eligibility from existing LAYIQ user and billing history. A previous Base trial makes a subscriber ineligible for another trial but never prevents an immediate Base purchase. Reuse of a payment method by different LAYIQ users is an abuse signal only and does not by itself deny a trial. Pro does not include a trial and is charged at checkout. Unless Base is canceled before its trial ends, the subscription renews monthly at the Base price.

LAYIQ may separately issue a no-card Base invitation to a named person in its sole discretion. Each invitation is single-use and bound to the intended account and email address, is not a transferable public coupon, provides 30 days of Base access, expires at the recorded end of its term, and does not automatically renew. It does not create a paid subscription. After an invitation expires or LAYIQ revokes it, LAYIQ may choose to issue a separate new invitation. That discretionary reissue is not an extension of the prior invitation and is not a customer entitlement.

2. Billing

Subscription payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. You authorize LAYIQ and its payment processor to charge your selected payment method for subscription fees and applicable taxes. Prices exclude applicable taxes unless checkout states otherwise.

The current launch price for Base is $9.99 per month and for Pro is $29.99 per month, plus any applicable taxes, unless another price is shown at checkout.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through the billing portal or another cancellation method we make available.

Cancellation stops future renewal. Unless otherwise stated at the time of cancellation or required by law, you will keep access to your paid plan through the end of the current paid billing period.

For example, if your monthly subscription renews on the 30th and you cancel on the 10th, your paid-plan access normally continues until the 30th.

4. Refunds

Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where LAYIQ chooses, in its sole discretion, to make an exception.

This means we generally do not provide refunds or credits for:

• partial billing periods;
• unused time;
• forgetting to cancel;
• not using the service;
• dissatisfaction with job-search outcomes;
• not receiving interviews or job offers;
• duplicate accounts created by the same user;
• changes in your job-search needs.

5. Failed payments

If a recurring payment fails, LAYIQ may retry or otherwise seek to recover payment and may temporarily continue paid access. If payment is not recovered, LAYIQ may suspend or end paid access. We do not promise a specific recovery period.

6. When paid access ends

When a paid subscription ends, paid features may become unavailable. Your saved workspace may remain available subject to product rules.

7. Taxes

Prices exclude applicable taxes unless checkout states otherwise. Applicable taxes may be calculated and collected by our payment processor.

8. No job outcome guarantee

LAYIQ is a job-search software tool. Paying for a subscription does not guarantee interviews, offers, compensation, hiring results, or application success.

9. Exceptions

LAYIQ may issue a refund, credit, or other accommodation at its sole discretion. Making an exception once does not require LAYIQ to make the same or similar exception again.
