This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how paid LAYIQ subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work.

1. Paid plans

LAYIQ Pro and LAYIQ Premium are monthly subscriptions. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, the paid plan you select renews monthly until canceled.

2. Billing

Subscription payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. You authorize LAYIQ and its payment processor to charge your selected payment method for subscription fees and applicable taxes.

The current launch price for Pro is $9.99 per month and the current launch price for Premium is $29.99 per month, plus any applicable taxes, unless another price is shown at checkout.

LAYIQ does not offer an annual plan at launch.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through the billing portal or another cancellation method we make available.

Cancellation stops future renewal. Unless otherwise stated at the time of cancellation or required by law, you will keep access to your paid plan through the end of the current paid billing period.

For example, if your monthly subscription renews on the 30th and you cancel on the 10th, your paid-plan access normally continues until the 30th.

4. Refunds

Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where LAYIQ chooses, in its sole discretion, to make an exception.

This means we generally do not provide refunds or credits for:

• partial billing periods;
• unused time;
• forgetting to cancel;
• not using the service;
• dissatisfaction with job-search outcomes;
• not receiving interviews or job offers;
• duplicate accounts created by the same user;
• changes in your job-search needs.

5. Failed payments and grace period

If a payment fails, LAYIQ may keep your paid-plan access active for a three-day grace period while payment is retried or updated. If payment is not recovered during that period, your account may be downgraded to Free.

6. Downgrades

When a paid subscription ends, your account may be downgraded to Free. Paid features may become unavailable. Your saved workspace may remain available subject to Free plan limits and product rules.

7. Taxes

Prices may exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes may be calculated and collected by our payment processor.

8. No job outcome guarantee

LAYIQ is a job-search software tool. Paying for a subscription does not guarantee interviews, offers, compensation, hiring results, or application success.

9. Exceptions

LAYIQ may issue a refund, credit, or other accommodation at its sole discretion. Making an exception once does not require LAYIQ to make the same or similar exception again.
