Ensures the safety and regulatory compliance of the Dollar General Dedicated Fleet through training, audits, and performance analysis. This role also partners with third-party compliance providers to maintain accurate driver records and promote a strong safety culture.
The Fleet Safety Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of the Dollar General Dedicated Fleet. This position oversees the development and delivery of safety training programs, conducts audits and incident reviews, and analyzes safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement. The role requires in-depth knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and CSA regulations and involves close collaboration with third-party compliance partners to maintain accurate and up-to-date driver qualification files.
The Fleet Safety Supervisor also serves as a key resource for promoting a culture of safety across the fleet.
- Job Responsibility
- • Conducts new driver safety orientation, ride-along, and post-accident drug/BAT testing. (60%)
- • Leads accident review processes and provides driver counseling following incidents. (10%)
