LAYIQ - IT Specialist at Legends Global

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, and relevant experience.
Minimum 3–5 years of progressively responsible IT support, systems support, help desk, network support, or related technical experience.
Comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, peripheral devices, mobile devices, telecommunications equipment, networking, and common business applications.
Working knowledge of Internet technologies, servers, and network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, VLANs, wireless).
Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and tracking IT equipment and technology assets.
CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL knowledge and certification preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365; Type 45 wpm; 10 key by touch. Must demonstrate intermediate level knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Ability to prioritize and troubleshoot multiple technical issues in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable with multitasking and problem solving in a fast-paced working environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills who can build strong working relationships with an ability to interface with varied levels of management, peers, and partners across varying teams.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, or combine all three for up to 8 to 10 hours a day.
Must be able to lift/carry 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work varied shifts, weekdays, weekends, holidays and additional hours as venue schedule requires.
Must maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and professional discretion at all times.
Must demonstrate a high level of performance in communication at all times. This includes verbal, written, inter-departmental and outside of the department to all levels of employees as well as any person outside of the department and/or organization.
Must effectively adapt to a changing environment and department needs.
Must perform all duties with integrity and ensure all company and department policies are adhered to.
Must have the ability to work harmoniously in a team setting exhibiting the “Aloha Spirit” to fellow workers, guests, clients and the community to provide exceptional customer service while demonstrating behaviors that reflect the Hawai‘i Convention Center’s vision, mission statement and values.
