Lead Accountant, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting
KBR is seeking a Lead Accountant for its SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Group. This position will play a key role in the preparation and coordination of the Company’s SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.) and will support technical accounting matters and various business process improvement initiatives to drive value within the organization
Job Description:
Prepare and coordinate key aspects of the Company’s SEC reporting function, including the timely preparation of financial statements, footnote disclosures, MD&A, disclosure checklists, supporting workpapers and tie-outs. Also includes researching and assisting with drafting footnote disclosures.
Collaborate and coordinate with the various groups and stakeholders to obtain the necessary information needed to draft the appropriate disclosures in the company’s SEC filings.
