Drywall / Metal Framing - Carpenter

Responsibilities Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Carpenter. Below are the main responsibilities for this position. (This description may not include all duties required of this position) Jobsite Requirement – Must be a U.S. Citizen by Birth or Naturalization Perform commercial carpentry work involving drywall framing, hanging, and finishing according to sketches, blueprints, layouts, specifications, or oral instructions.

Layout, measure, cut, and install wood and metal stud framing for walls, ceilings, soffits, and partitions. Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall and related materials. Install backing, wood blocking, and other framing materials as required. Tape and finish drywall – sand and prepare finished drywall surfaces Must adhere to all safety protocols and work in a drug-free environment. Must be able to safely use standard carpenter hand tools and power tools.
