Job Summary
This analyst supports the financial, reimbursement, budgeting, accounting, and reporting activities associated with Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs for Sarasota Memorial Health Care System and affiliated academic partners. Responsibilities include support for Medicare and Medicaid GME reimbursement processes, budget preparation and monitoring, invoice and payment processing, month-end close activities, financial reporting, audit support, and coordination with GME leadership, Reimbursement, Accounting, Accounts Payable, and
academic affiliates. The analyst serves as a key financial resource to promote accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, timely processing, and effective stewardship of GME funding resources.
Required Qualifications
- Require bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or other relevant field of study. Master's degree preferred.
- Require a minimum of three (3) years of financial, accounting, reimbursement, budgeting, or analytical responsibilities experience, preferably within a healthcare organization.
