Employer job description
From Blue View Builder's posting. “We” and “our” refer to the employer.
The Senior Project Manager leads delivery across several projects that already have proficient workstream owners. This role is not a hands-on task manager for every work package. The primary accountability is to coordinate workstream owners and delivery teams, integrate dependencies, and own an accurate, current, and actionable integrated schedule.
Success in this role is measured by schedule integrity, clean cross-team coordination, timely exception handling, and stakeholder confidence—not by personally executing workstream deliverables.
Schedule ownership
- Own the integrated master schedule across all workstreams, including milestones, dependencies, critical path, and float.
- Maintain schedule hygiene: baseline control, change impact analysis, slip tracking, and recovery options.
- Run a consistent cadence of schedule reviews with workstream owners; publish a single source of truth.
- Translate workstream plans into one coordinated timeline and flag collisions before they become delays.
